WEEK 2 NFL, COLLEGE, HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PREDICTIONS

PREVIOUS WEEKS REVIEW/RANDOM THOUGHTS

  • Texas A&M vs SFA, this is pretty sad and a disgrace what they do to the integrity of the game in this video, If you go to SFA you should be ashamed of yourself and the coaching staff should be fired for telling their players to do this this Video speaks for itself this the kind of crap you see on the soccer field EMBARASSING!!!watch it once then watch it again to see how the players go down

  • Next off this Boise State stuff, ya Im not happy they won, its not because I lost 55 bucks on it either, This team is not good for college football, Nobody outside Idaho really cares about even though they have former Cy Creek Back DJ Harper, The second this team loses a game its all over for them. Oregon St. and @ Nevada I think are the only chances they have to lose. Last years bowl game they should have been matched up against someone better than TCU

  • Another thing that is bothering me a lot is Texas, this “back to the running game” philosophy is downright stupid and its also boring to watch. You have the best sophomore QB in the Country in Garrett Gilbert, you just got the 3 top ranked receivers in the state in the 2010 recruiting class, I’m sure they didn’t come to Texas to run that BS, I mean they rarely threw the ball deep. Or threw it at all none of UT’s Running BackS are worth a crap Cody Johnson from Waller was battling weight issues in High School. He got replaced by Tre Newton from Southlake Carroll who I feel peaked in High School and has gotten any better, and when you got to Southlake Carroll in some cases I think that program makes you look better than you actually are, They have no TE to speak of Without Gilbert thats a 6-6 team With Gilbert they are they are around 8-4, 9-3, But running that offense. They gonna lose a few games and That Rice game I was changing the channel the only thing fun to watch was Sam McGuffie. I think he gonna be fun to watch once they start their conference games.

  • Another week of High School and the Houston area suffers another couple of losses Cy Creek RB Jermichael Selders a West Virginia commit tore his ACL in practice last week, and is gone for the season, also Hightower starting RB Joshua Wilhite also tore his ACL is done for the year, Houston is losing some star power quick, Klein Forest QB Matt Davis (ACL-season) Woodlands RB Daniel Lasco, (ankle-week to week).

  • Speaking of The Woodlands, they played an Double time classic against Fort Bend Hightower here the highlights of that game

  • This play right here won me $50

MIAMI : 17
OHIO STATE:21

HIGH SCHOOL GAME OF THE WEEK

2009 4A D-1 State Champs vs 2009 4A D-2 State Champs

LAKE TRAVIS CAVALIERS vs ALEDO BEARCATS
FRI.SEPT. 10th 7:30 Cavalier Stadium (Lake Travis)

Lake Travis Michael Breweraledo jonathan gray

Lake Travis QB Michael Brewer (senior)         Aledo RB Jonathan Gray (Junior)
(Texas Tech Commit)                           #1 ranked class of 2012 Running Back

a lot at stake in this one!!Lake Travis is two wins away from setting the longest win streak in Texas High School Football. And both of Last year’s 4A state champs meet up for what should be this years 4A state championship game, they will likely split divisions again though Lake TravisLake Travis has been behind in both of their 1st two games if they get behind in this one I dont think they will come back against this Aledo team. Lake Travis Texas Tech commit Michael Brewer at QB, his favorite Target is hurt, WR Connor Floyd (Tulsa commit) I’m not sure if he is gonna play or not but If he does I’ll take Lake Travis If he doesn’t I’ll go with Aledo. Aledo has the number one ranked RB in the state of texas in the 2012 class Jonathan Gray, who will have offers from every school in the country. Should Aledo be able to make a couple of stops on D, Gray and Aledo should be able to play ball control win but I think Connor Floyd makes a difference in this one ****UPDATE**** Connor Floyd does have a broken leg and will miss most the year but ill stick with lake travis to keep the streak going

TOES PICK:
LAKE TRAVIS: 38
ALEDO: 35

TOMBALL COUGARS VS MAYDE CREEK RAMS
7PM FRIDAY SEPT. 10TH RHODES STADIUM (KATY)

Photobucket Photobucket

TOMBALL RB BRANDON GREEN         MAYDE CREEK FB DREON JOHNSON

Tomball (2-0) comes into this one looking pretty impressive once again last week. In a 43-6 victory over Jersey Village and I dont see any reason this week should be any different. Mayde Creek does have a better D than Morton Ranch and Jersey Village. Once again the Free Safety Malcolm Scott who moved in over the summer from Las Vegas looked great intercepting 2 passes against Jersey Village. I dont look for him to be making those kind of plays this week. Mayde Creek wont be throwin any at all and Scott has been tackling really well, He turns those would be 45-60 yard TD runs into 8-10 yard gains. Tomball’s front 7 should be tested this week as Mayde Creek has a Bull at Fullback # 45 Dreon Johnson he big strong and has a lil bit of speed but he wont be running away from body, but he wont be getting caught either. Which Leads me to another point nobody in Tomball’s district runs the same kind of offense that Cy Fair (scrimmage) Morton Ranch, Jersey Village, Mayde Creek does, I mean its kind of important to schedule games you can be competitive in, but you got to play some teams that run similar offenses to those same teams in your district. Cause I think this district gonna be awhole different beast than what Tomball has been seeing so far.

TOES PICK:
TOMBALL: 31
MAYDE CREEK: 10

COLLEGE GAME OF THE WEEK

OKLAHOMA SOONERS (-9) vs FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES (+9)
SATURDAY SEPT. 10TH 2:30pm ABC

demarco murray oklahoma fsu christian ponder
OKLAHOMA RB DEMARCO MURRAY            FSU QB CHRISTIAN PONDER

Oklahoma comes into this one after struggling against a experienced Utah State team last week, this a a experienced Florida Stateteam that pounded Samford. FSU travels to Oklahoma. Christian Ponder a Texas High School Quarterback and as I always say you really got to pick your spots when betting against them. And for some reason I think this is one of those spots. FSU didn’t really see the speed that they are gonna see against Oklahoma, The game is in Oklahoma, and in the past Ponder hasn’t shown he can get it done. This is probably his best supporting cast since he has been at FSU but.. I think 9 points is a little high in this one, if it was 7 or less I would take Oklahoma, But give me FSU +9

TOES PICK
OKLAHOMA: 35
